IgniteHeal Cookies Policy
Which cookies we use, why, and how you can control them
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things, that you've been here before, what you clicked, whether you've dismissed a banner. Similar technologies including pixels, tags, local storage and scripts do comparable jobs, and where we say "cookies" in this policy we mean all of them.
This policy explains which cookies we use, why, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle your information.
2. Your choices, and how consent works
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to make the site work without asking, because the site cannot function without them.
For everything else, analytics, and anything that tracks how you use the site, we ask for your consent before setting them. You can accept all, reject all, or choose which categories to allow. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not stop you using the site or booking an appointment.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
Where you live affects your rights here. We apply the same consent standard to everyone, which is the strictest of the regimes that apply to us:
- United Kingdom — the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK GDPR require your consent before non-essential cookies are set
- Indonesia — Law No. 27 of 2022 (UU PDP) requires a lawful basis, usually consent, for processing personal data
- Singapore — the Personal Data Protection Act requires consent where cookies collect personal data
- Australia — the Privacy Act applies where cookies collect personal information, and we tell you what we collect and why
3. Cookies we use
Yes — igniteheal.com uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) so the site can run securely, remember your session and cart, process payments, and support booking and enquiry tools provided by partners.
Strictly necessary
Set without consent, because the site cannot work without them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionId (local storage) | IgniteHeal | Identifies your browsing session for guest checkout and cart continuity | Until cleared |
| cart (local storage) | IgniteHeal | Stores items in your shopping cart between visits | Until cleared or checkout completes |
| token (local storage) | IgniteHeal | Keeps you signed in securely after login | Until you sign out or clear storage |
| sidebar:state | IgniteHeal | Remembers admin dashboard sidebar open/closed preference | 7 days |
Functional
Remember choices you make, like language or region. We do not currently set separate functional cookies for the public site beyond the strictly necessary items above. If we add any, they will be listed here.
Analytics
Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Set only with your consent. We do not currently set first-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics). If we introduce them, they will be listed here and will not run until you consent.
Third-party embeds
Some features are provided by other companies, and their cookies may be set when you interact with those features (for example when you open a form, book an appointment, or pay). We don't control them.
| Service | What it does | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Typeform | Enquiry and waitlist forms | Typeform legal / cookies |
| Nabooki | Appointment booking | Nabooki privacy policy |
| Stripe | Payment processing, including fraud prevention | Stripe cookies policy |
4. What we don't do
- We don't use cookies for advertising or to build advertising profiles
- We don't sell information collected through cookies
- We don't use cookies to collect health information
Any health information you share with us is collected through consultations, forms and correspondence, never through website tracking. See our Privacy Policy.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies when you close the browser.
- Chrome: Open Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data, then choose your preferences or delete cookies. Chrome help
- Safari: Open Settings (or Preferences) → Privacy, then manage or remove website data / cookies. Safari help
- Firefox: Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data, then manage or clear data. Firefox help
- Edge: Open Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. Edge help
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, may stop parts of the site working (for example staying signed in or keeping items in your cart).
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our site changes. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
